Prepare to Cut Hair

Hi there! So, you are ready to start cutting hair. Well done!

Katya and Michael Stanlevski are regular clients of Cyber Hair Studio. Katya has already arrived for her hair cut. Michael is coming in later for a hair cut and beard trim; he is going to be the best man at a wedding that they are going to this evening. They are a really friendly couple and are both happy for you to work with them. I will be with you the whole time to check how you are going.

The first step to cutting Katya's hair is to analyse her hair, face, body shape and lifestyle and, based on your analysis and her requirements, select some hair cuts to recommend to Katya (Task 1). After that, I am going to ask you to describe how you would cut Katya's hair and what tools you would use (Task 2). Lastly, we are going to look at Michael's needs. You will need to consider how to perform an outline shave and I will ask you to recommend a new beard design for Michael (Task 3).
